Rihanna Wings Big at Inaugural iHeart Radio Music Awards

Broadcasted live on NBC from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the inaugural iHeart Radio Music Awards aired over 150 iHeart radio stations across the country, and in all 60 million votes were cast for several categories of the awards show.

Rihanna emerged the big winner bagging 4 awards, including Artist and Song, Hip Hop/R&B Song, of the year as well as Best Fan Army.

Performers during the evening included Pitbull, Luke Bryan, Bastille, 30 Seconds to Mars, Kendrick Lamar, Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton, Ed Sheeran, Shakira and Arcade Fire, whilst various artists spoke of their love and vision for Los Angeles, where many of them in the music industry call home.

Also notable during the event was the world premiere of the late Michael Jackson’s new song “Love Never Felt So Good” performed by Usher in tribute.
