A series of vital river expeditions, led by National Geographic Explorer Dr Steve Boyes, have proven that the source of the Zambezi River is in the Angolan Highlands. With support from our Perpetual Planet Initiative, the conservationist presented his world-first research to global leaders in a bid to secure greater protections for this vital area.
