For the latest Chanel eyewear collection, creative director Karl Lagerfeld found inspiration in the baroque opulence of costume jewelry worn by founder Coco Chanel. The new “Bijou” collection features ornate metalwork, in feminine and sophisticated shapes including butterfly and cat eye frames. A varied color palette in shades of palladium, limpid blue and celadon green; offer a contrast to the classic craftsmanship. The “Bijou” collection is available in Chanel stores this November.
