Jeremy Lin leads Knicks to win over Utah Jazz in 1st start

The Jazz experienced firsthand on Monday what Deron Williams and the Nets experienced on Saturday — that brainiacs can play basketball as Lin, the second-year pro out of Harvard, led the short-handed New York Knicks to a 99-88 victory over the Utah Jazz.

Lin, in his first career start, made the most of the opportunity, scoring a career-high 28 points while dishing out eight assists. Lin and Steve Novak (19 points) keyed the Knick effort in the absence of Amare Stoudemire and after the departure of Carmelo Anthony, who left early with a strained right groin.
