Gerald Genta retrospective: the Grande Sonnerie from 1994
By SENATUS Editor | 27 June 2023

1994 - THE GRANDE SONNERIE.

The Grande Sonnerie was the most complicated watch of its time requiring no less than 5 years of developpment. Featuring Petite & Grande Sonnerie with Westminster carillon striking on four gongs, Tourbillon, double power reserves for the hour and sonnerie mechanisms, automatic winding, and more than a 1000 parts, this masterpiece could not better illustrate The Maestro's true DNA: daring designs paired with Grandes Complications.
