Private Tour of Piaget Manufactures in Switzerland

During #SIHH2018 we were invited to tour the manufactures of Piaget, its original birthplace at La Côte-aux-Fées -- a family farmhouse where Georges-Edouard Piaget set up his first workshop 140 years ago -- where its haute horlogerie / watchmaking still takes place, and Plan-les-Ouates its current corporate headquarters and where its haute joaillerie / jewellery pieces as well as finishing on jewellery timepieces are done.
The highlight of the tour included a viewing of the Swiss manufacture's pride this year, the Altiplano Ultimate Concept, which is an unbelievable 2mm thick and the Patrimony exhibition, which had a showing of its recent acquisitions for its archives as well as significant watches and jewellery worn by celebrities and famous figures.
