Shades of Gold Sparkle at Elie Saab FW15/16 at Haute Couture Week
By SENATUS News | 9 July 2015

Sparkling sequins, shimmering beading and full skirts were the order of the day at Elie Saab's Fall/Winter 2015/2016 presentation at Haute Couture Week in Paris. Gold dresses adorned with embroidery depicting foliage and other motifs dominated the showcase, alongside shades of pink, blue, and taupe before moving onto darker tones.

High and low necklines featured among the gowns, which had straps, short or flowing sleeves, empire lines or full skirts. Some were cinched at the waist with slim belts. Materials-wise, the Lebanses designer relied on printed silk organza, lace as well as mink detailing.
