Jeremy Scott and Miley Cyrus Launch 'Dirty Hippie' Collaboration at New York Fashion Week
By SENATUS News | 13 September 2014

Jeremy Scott, fresh from his new start as creative director of Moschino, and famed for his pop-culture club kid mashups, showcased his own label’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection in New York City, with a little help from singer Miley Cyrus. The American designer e opened with hippie florals, DM boots, metallics, and faux fur trim, then moved on to 'Shrek' motifs, furry animal slippers, and a cool 1960s cartoon twist on a tartan. The psychedelic tie-dye was followed by another shirt shouting 'DON'T TAKE DRUGS', and then a series of 8-ball and skull looks, with hot-rod flames shooting up shorts.

This was also the occasion for Miley Cyrus and Scott to unveil their 'Dirty Hippie' accessories collection which he showed off on his Instagram account, with Miley joining in with the social media love-in too. The elaborate, multicolored plastic headpieces, bracelets, and necklaces were festooned over the models throughout the show too. To cap it off in true club kid style, the after party featured a trio of superstar DJs: A-Trak, Skrillex and Diplo on the decks.
